Ombudsman order not enough for insurance firm to pay up fully
Ramesh Vedhera had lost his wife in a car accident in June 2005. Though he received the basic sum assured of her insurance policy by the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), the double accident benefit claim was not paid to him despite repeated reminders.
